CHURCH DISCIPLINE:

The church doesn’t encourage immodest dressing, destructive criticisms, gossip, backbiting
and sectional grouping and insult to authority (like the Bishop, pastors, evangelists,
elders, deacons/deaconess).
However, if disrespect by any member or leader is discovered, the advisory/disciplinary
committee will meet and take action on such a person undermining his/her position
as ordained leader or not, but the final decision must carry the blessing of the Bishop.
Members should show respect to all their leaders and must not use the name or
position of the Bishop /pastor to lie for favor (like telling to people that “Bishop”
or Pastor” said this and that)
Please get true information from the church secretary or general administrator
at all the times.
Deacon and Deaconess Positions are appointed and ordained (not by democracy) and can be
recalled by the Bishop due to evil doings contrary to the doctrine/construction of the church.
They can also be rewarded to the position of a minister /pastor for good works, dedication,
commitment, faithfulness to timing, humility and obedience to the principles and rules of God.
It happened to King Saul, He was ordained by Prophet Samuel.
However, due to evil doings and disobedience, he lost the throne to David by the proclamation
of the same Prophet who has ordained him.
The leaders must respect each other’s office and assist one another, when they notice things
are not right.
We all are not working for man, woman or ourselves but for God Almighty.
NOTE:
All members are advised to join any department of their choice.

They must be able to work with evangelism and youth department, visit and encourage
church members and see that members are fine and well. They are allowed to raise their
own fund to be able to carry out their duties.

TITHING/VOWS/OFFERINGS & FIRST FRUITS:

One of the doctrines of Model prayer Assemblies is to obey the principles of godly
tithing, offering and vows mentioned in the bible.
VOWS: These are sacrificial offerings given unconditionally by a member. It comes
from the heart of the giver to do so. Ecclesiastes 5:4-5, Leviticus 27
TITHE: is one tenth of your income, gifts received from people, salaries, business
profits or financial rewards: Mal 3:10-11, Lev 27:30-31, Numbers 18:21-26
FIRST FRUITS: All first salaries received from a first job, or business,
first male born oxen, or beats. “Consecrate to me all the fist born,
whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, Both of man and beast;
it is Mine” Exodus 13:2, 12

Characteristics of a good leader:

Proverbs 16:12

Church leadership is about how we behave, commumicate and manage—while leading people
toward a shared goal. Minstry leadership is responsible for influencing how work gets
accomplished, and effective leaders, have certain traits and characteristics that
affect how they interact with others.
Successful professionals demonstrate leadership qualities while continuing on their own
personal development journey. They are life learners and take pride in developing others
and watching them grow

A good communication: As a leader, one must listen… a lot! You must be willing
to work to understand the needs and desires of others. A good leader asks many
questions, considers all options, and leads in the right direction.
Interested in feedback: How do people feel about your leadership skill set?
How can you improve? These are important questions that a leader needs to constantly
ask the chapter. View feedback as a gift to improve.
Consistent: Confidence and respect cannot be attained without your leadership being
consistent. People must have confidence that their opinions and thoughts will be heard
and taken into consideration.
Open-minded: Work to consider all options when making decisions.
A strong leader will evaluate the input from all interested parties
and work for the betterment of the whole.
Organized: Are you prepared for meetings, presentations, events and confident
that people around you are prepared and organized as well?
Resourceful: Utilize the resources available to you. If you don’t know the answer
to something find out by asking questions. A leader must create access to information.
